On today's show, Mr. Tony read Ken Denlinger's appreciation of Mark Asher, the longtime Washington Post reporter who was an old school journalist's journalist. I was inspired to send in the following story, which I regard as a tribute to both Asher and Jack Kvancz:
Dear Mr. Tony,
When Jack Kvancz became the AD at GW, he considered changing the telephone number for his private office line. His predecessor at GW, Steve Bilsky, had given it to Mark Asher and he was getting tired of the calls. "But I decided not to," he said, "because I know Asher will just get that number too."
