It would have been difficult to capture the intensity of those games, the ferocity of Jim Wasilewski pounding the ball to the floor as he led the break, or myself filling the lane and trying to convert a layup without running into the stage, and of course the inevitable Tip Fishburn 18-foot gamewinning setshot, the toes of his red/black/white Air Jordans pointed squarely at the hoop. Mostly I remember the tile floor that made for an aching back and ankles.<BR/><BR/>Richard - Why did the one rim always remain standing, while the other was always in need of replacing? The one at the low end kept my dream of being able to dunk alive much longer than it deserved.
